Jan Stok worked in the '60s in the kitchen on the ships of the Holland - America Line. He was responsible as 'chef garde manager' for the cold kitchen. His French colleagues quickly translated his name into 'JEANB TON'. Under that name he became known for his delicious sauces. To this day, JEANB TON makes special mayonnaises, sauces and dressings.
