Beemster Extra Oud is an extra long matured cheese, and has a salty, very rich taste, with delicious ripening crystals.
Beemster is a truly local cheese. Prepared with 100% North-Holland meadow milk, from cows grazing on the protein-rich grassland. Made by our cheese makers with the same craft, attention and time as 100 years ago. We still stir the curd by hand and ripen the cheeses in a natural way. And you can taste that!
