Beemster Extra Matured is matured under premium conditions. Such as a balanced temperature and humidity. This is partly why this full cheese owes its recognizable, intense character and spicy aftertaste. Beemster cheese is prepared with 100% fresh North-Holland meadow milk, made locally in the Beemster polder. A piece of Beemster Extra Matured can be used in various ways. For example, shave slices of it for a toast and you can even make a dessert with it. A cheesecake with this extra matured cheese, beets, white grapes and walnuts. This is sure to impress your guests.
