• Quevedo is a Portuguese family business from the Douro Valley. The winemaker Claudia Quevedo is responsible for the production of all port wines. These fall into the categories Ruby, Tawny, White and Rosé. Just like ordinary rosé, this port gets its pink color from a short skin contact with the blue grapes. It is a refreshing sweet aperitif with an alcohol percentage of 19.5%. This is therefore a fortified wine, where alcohol is added during the fermentation process. The residual sugars in the wine (85 grams per liter) are natural sugars from the grapes. It is very fruity with the taste of strawberry, raspberry and tropical fruit. Delicious with drinks with olives and chips. Or with a dessert with fruit.
