The Dominican Republic is a well-known supplier of trinitario cocoa. Our partner Conacado is a cooperation that represents 10,000 small-scale cocoa farmers and has initiated the change to well-fermented Bio and Fairtrade cocoa for customers with high quality requirements. They have realized large installations distributed over seven regions on the island where the cocoa is brought to be fermented and dried under constant quality control.
