Description
Beemster Signature Royaal Grand Cru is a firm, slightly crumbly cheese that matures for about 12 months on spruce wood planks. Unique aromas combine with a subtly melting, creamy texture. Fine ripening crystals make this royal cheese a unique specialty. Beemster cheese is prepared with 100% fresh North-Holland meadow milk, made locally in the Beemster polder. A piece of Beemster Signature Royaal Grand Cru can be used in various ways. On the cheese board, together with, for example, dry sausage, grapes and fruit-nut bread. Or grate the piece of cheese over a pasta dish for extra flavor.
