• The Cypress is a striking columnar tree with a blue-green color that can grow up to 60 meters high and even 500 years old. Its origin lies in Asia, but the tree is now mainly grown in the Mediterranean region. Cypress oil is extracted by steam distillation of freshly harvested twigs. The color varies from light yellow to green and the scent is reminiscent of the fresh air during a forest walk. The oil is often used as a fragrance.
