Description

• The wild Ylang ylang is a tropical tree of about 10 - 40 meters high and originally comes from Indonesia and the Philippines. The cultivated trees are kept smaller by pruning to shrub size, about 3-5 meters high. The flowers of this tree are white, soft pink, pink or yellow.
• They are small and grow in clusters, half hidden behind the large green leaves. The oil is extracted from the freshly picked flowers by steam distillation. This oil has a fruity, floral scent and is yellowish in color.
