• Many consider rhubarb to be a very German affair. Few people know that this plant has its roots in the Himalayas and came to us via France. Even with Grandma Frieda ("Lütts Tante"), the perennial had its firm place on the vegetable land: "Heavy feeder" Grandma used to explain, while she forked well-fertilized cow manure onto the beer. Today, rhubarb is also becoming a fashionable plant among young people, especially in liquid form.
• This spritzer contains rhubarb direct juice. Because it's not so much fun when it's all too sour, a little fructose is added in a restrained manner. It has a high sweetness and therefore brings comparatively fewer additional calories into the glass. The rhubarb for this direct juice is grown in the Lippische Kalletal.
