Vitakruid Magnesium 150 bisglycinate 180 tablets
Vitakruid Magnesium 150 bisglycinate
Vitakruid Magnesium 150 bisglycinate

Magnesium bound to glycine
Magnesium bisglycinate is a compound between magnesium and two (bis) molecules of the amino acid glycine. The sweet-tasting substance is non-
essential, which means that our body makes the amino acid itself in the liver. Nevertheless, standalone glycine supplements
are frequently used. Surgery, diet, rapid growth, or heavy exercise are factors that make glycine supplementation a valuable addition to the
diet.

By the way, you get a significant amount of glycine when you use Magnesium Bisglycinate 150. A magnesium bisglycinate
compound that results in 150 mg of magnesium contains no less than 600 mg of glycine!

Organic and chelated form
Magnesium malate, -taurate, -bisglycinate, and -citrate are organically bound forms of magnesium. Inorganic magnesium forms such as
magnesium chloride, magnesium oxide, and magnesium sulfate are less bioavailable and are therefore less well absorbed. For example,
magnesium sulfate has a biological availability of only 4%. This means that a dose of 200 mg of magnesium sulfate
only has an effective effect of 8 mg.

Your daily diet generally contains inorganically bound magnesium. These are the forms that occur in the soil and
are absorbed by the plants you eat every day. Examples include magnesium oxide and magnesium carbonate. Your body therefore takes
only a small portion of the magnesium you get from your regular diet.

The best forms we know are magnesium chelates such as magnesium taurate, magnesium malate, and magnesium bisglycinate. The structure of
an amino acid chelate is so strong that our gastric juice cannot split the shape. This is due to the amino acids in the chelate form, which act as
act as a protective layer for the magnesium. The magnesium bisglycinate therefore fully reaches our intestines, where our body
then absorbs the valuable mineral. Furthermore, the amino acid chelated character ensures fewer stomach and intestinal complaints, in
compared to unchelated magnesium forms.

High absorbability elemental magnesium
The elemental amount of a mineral must always be stated on a label. The molecular compound of magnesium bisglycinate contains
20% elemental magnesium. That may not seem like much. But an elemental amount of 150 mg, from 750 mg magnesium bisglycinate
our body absorbs much better than the same amount of elemental magnesium bound to, for example, citrate, oxide, or sulfate. And for
magnesium, the absorption of the mineral is a much more important criterion than quantity.

L-taurine provides synergistic action
In addition, we have added I-taurine to Magnesium Bisglycinate. This amino acid-like substance is found in significant quantities in meat,
fish and shellfish. For this formula, synergy was the motivation to add I-taurine. The intercellular substance always ensures better
absorption of magnesium bisglycinate, which is also active at the intercellular level.
