The Cajeput tree reaches a height of 30 to 40 meters, has thick, light, lamellar bark and hanging branches with lance-shaped leaves. The name comes from the Malaysian language, where "kaja" means white and "putie" wood. The essential oil Cajeput smells extra like a fresh eucalyptus.
