Description

• The Montaignan wines come from the part of the Languedoc where the vineyards gradually merge into the Pyrenees. Thanks to the nearby mountains, the wines not only benefit from a light sea breeze from the Mediterranean, but also from a cooling mountain wind. This results in a dry red wine with the taste of black berries, ripe blackberries, cherries, plums, black pepper and other spices. Part of the wine matures for half a year in oak barrels. The other part matures in stainless steel tanks. After maturation, both parts are blended together and you can taste a hint of vanilla in addition to the sappiness. Serve it with a barbecue, a beef stew with spices or with a lasagna bolognese.
