Caesar Dressing
In the 50s, Jan Stok worked in the ship's kitchen of the Holland - America Line. As 'chef garde manger' he was responsible for the cold dishes. His French colleagues soon gave him a new name: Jean Bâton, a literal translation of Jan Stok. Under that name he became best known for his delicious sauces.
The classic Jean Bâton Caesar Dressing is made with cheese, garlic and chives. Delicious in a salad of fresh lettuce and crispy croutons.
