For example, add 10 ml of hydrolate to a baby bath or use it as a skin lotion for sensitive skin and eczema. Hydrolate is the condensation that occurs during a distillation process as water vapor precipitates and is collected. The oil is removed and the hydrolate remains. This moisture contains the water-soluble parts of essential oils. Hydrolates can be used as a facial lotion. Apply a small amount of hydrolate to a cotton pad moistened with water. Also good to use in a spray.
