Storage
With the exception of tea tree and lavender, essential oils must not be applied undiluted to the skin. If an essential oil accidentally gets into the eyes or causes irritation, apply a fatty vegetable oil to the area immediately. In case of abusive internal use, also drink a few sips of fatty vegetable oil immediately. Essential oils dissolve best in, for example, olive oil or sunflower oil. Moreover, these oils have an immediate soothing effect. Then immediately warn a doctor!
Only under expert guidance can essential oils be used for internal use. The aromatherapist from Volatile advises against internal use. Never experiment with this yourself! Always keep oils out of the reach of children. A number of essential oils should not be used by babies or during pregnancy.
