Keep essential oils out of the reach of children and pets. They are flammable and must therefore not be stored or used near
open fire. Be careful with polished surfaces: the oil can damage these. Remove any spilled drops immediately. As a result of their
volatile nature, essential oils evaporate quickly. They are affected when exposed to heat, light and oxygen and must therefore
be stored well closed, cool and dark. Essential oils can be stored for several years if the bottle is tightly closed. Then
the quality slowly decreases. Citrus oils are an exception to this rule: they must be used within 1 year of opening. Other
essential oils, such as sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver, on the other hand, can be stored for years after opening without any loss of quality.
