• Signé Bourgogne is made by the local cooperative from Buxy in the south of the Chalonnais. They make this full-bodied white wine from Chardonnay grapes from various vineyards. Meanwhile, Chardonnay can be found all over the world, but the cradle of this grape is Burgundy. Chardonnay can mature excellently in oak barrels, but for this wine the producer chooses to let the wine mature in stainless steel tanks. This preserves the wine's freshness in addition to the full, ripe flavors of the grape itself. You can also taste a buttery, round taste with peach, yellow apple, citrus and banana. Delicious to drink with fatty fish, chicken, veal or cow's milk cheeses, for example brie or camembert.
