Priméal organic, whole grain basmati rice. Basmati rice has been cultivated at the foot of the Himalayas for centuries. The rice owes its unmistakable aroma to the natural way in which the soil is irrigated by the glacier water. The name basmati comes from Hindi and means "queen of scents". In addition to the scent, basmati rice also has a light and soft texture and the grains remain loose when cooked. Priméal organic whole grain basmati rice comes from fair trade trade from the Punjabi region.
