• The essential oil of the Siberian fir is distilled from branches of the Siberian fir (botanical: Abies sibirica). In our use, the oil is called "pine needle oil". The scent is forest sweet, a typical fresh forest scent. The Siberian fir has a high content of monoterpene ester.
• The twigs and needles used for distillation are mainly harvested in the spring and autumn, because this is the moment when the content of essential oils is particularly high.
