• Our Weizener is certainly not just any wheat beer. It combines the best of two very different types of beer that are traditionally brewed with wheat. From the Belgian wheat beer it has the fresh Belgian yeast and the beautiful herbs. This ensures the freshness and the slightly exotic. From the German Weizen we gave it the hops and the wheat that is common in Germany. Yet the combination of those ingredients is not yet Hertog Jan Weizener. It only becomes that in our kettles, where we brew it in our own way into a full-bodied, fresh beer with characteristic bitter tones and a pleasantly firm aftertaste. A special beer that combines two beautiful styles.
