• HeltiQ Burn Wound Compress is a hydrogel-saturated compress that directly cools burns caused by fire, steam, hot liquids, radiant heat or other non-chemical heat sources. You use the compress as first aid in the initial phase of the burn when there is no water available at the location where you are, or on body parts where you have difficulty cooling with lukewarm water, for example in the face. You can also use the burn wound compress as a supplement to cooling with lukewarm water.
