We love legumes. Heart and soul. Applicable. Because the Kidney Bean owes its name to a
kidney-shaped appearance. That can't be a coincidence -). We steam these boulders after the harvest. We do that when they are already in the can
sit. This means we need little water and the beans retain their crunchy bite, taste and beautiful red
color. Because beautiful red is not ugly. These dark red, firm beans have a light sweet, fleshy taste and are
often used in chili's (sin carne) and other Mexican dishes such as tacos and wraps. Ideal as a meat substitute, they
fill you up very well.
